Polakis Technologies Design directions · November 2026

Three ways the new Polakis site could look and flow.

Each sample is a working homepage built with the content currently on polakis.co.ke. Open them, click around, and pick the one that feels most like Polakis. You can also mix parts from different directions.

What I kept from the live siteEvery page and every product

Home, the 8 products, Solutions, Industries, Services, Case Studies, Resources, Blog, About, Partners, Careers, Support, Contact and the 3 legal pages.

Real content, not placeholdersYour clients, team and results

City Health Hospital, HS Jutley Insurance Brokers, Highland Pension Trust, the 13 client names, the leadership team, Ralph Bunche Rd address and WhatsApp.

What changesLook, structure and flow

The live site is a solid but standard SaaS layout. Each direction rethinks how a visitor discovers products and gets to a demo.

Direction 01

Control Room

Polakis is the operating system essential organizations run on, so the site behaves like one. The homepage is a live console: products sit in a rail like apps, activity streams in, and ⌘K jumps to any page.

How visitors move
  • Console
  • Pick an app
  • See its numbers
  • Product page
  • Book a demo
Geist+ Geist Mono
Strongest at
  • Feeling technical and credible to IT buyers
  • Fast navigation with ⌘K search
  • Showing products working, not just described
Trade-offs
  • Dense; less warm for non-technical visitors
  • Fewer large photos
  • Activity feed needs real or clearly sample data
Direction 02

Field Journal

Polakis told through the places its software runs. The site reads like a field journal: a photographic cover, a contents page, and one chapter per product set in its real place: the ward, the claims desk, the highway, the port.

How visitors move
  • Cover
  • Contents
  • Chapter (place)
  • Product page
  • Write to us
Big Shoulders+ Newsreader
Strongest at
  • Most photographic and memorable
  • Explains each product through a real-world scene
  • Warm, confident, African-rooted storytelling
Trade-offs
  • Depends on great photography (ideally your own)
  • Longer read before the details
  • Editorial tone needs good copy upkeep
Direction 03

Orbit 360

Built on the "360" in every product name. The hero is an orbit of the eight products around the Polakis core. Turn it and the whole page takes on that product's colour. Circles carry through: a platform ring map, a delivery clock, round results.

How visitors move
  • Orbit
  • Turn to a product
  • Platform rings
  • Product page
  • Book a demo
Unbounded+ Manrope
Strongest at
  • Most distinctive and brand-ownable
  • Turns "360" into a visual identity
  • Playful to explore, still clear to use
Trade-offs
  • Each product needs its own accent colour
  • Circular layouts need care on small phones
  • Motion-heavy; needs a calm reduced-motion version
Mix and match

You don't have to pick only one.

These parts travel well between directions. For example: Orbit 360's hero with Field Journal's product chapters, or Control Room's ⌘K search on any of them.

PartFromWhat it does
⌘K quick search01Jump to any page, product or industry by typing
Industry coverage map0113 industries × 8 products in one table
Product chapters02Each product told through the place it runs, with big photos
Contents page02A clear index of every product with image preview
Product orbit03Rotate through products; page colours follow
Delivery clock03The 9-step method as an interactive dial
Step 1Pick a direction

Or name the parts you'd combine. Tell me what you like and what you don't.

Step 2I build the full site in it

All live pages: the 8 product pages, company pages, case studies, blog and legal.

Step 3Swap in your photos

The samples use placeholder stock photos. Your own photos of clients, team and offices will lift any direction.
